Prop pick #1: Brady Tkachuk 1+ assist
Could today finally be the day Brady Tkachuk gets on the scoresheet? If there's ever been a spot for him to break through, this is it against a Buffalo defense that's been bleeding goals to start the season.
Skating on the top line and first power-play unit while averaging nearly 18 minutes of ice time, Tkachuk should have no shortage of opportunities to pick up his first point.
Colten Ellis, who has 18 career games under his belt, is expected to get the nod for Buffalo, and he won't fare well behind a Sabres defense allowing 3.8 goals per game — the sixth-most in the NHL.
With an implied probability of just 41%, this could be one of the best prices we see on him all season. I'd play it up to 45%.

This is a complete misprice on Drake Batherson, who's recorded at least one point in three of five games this season.
I love to play my point props based on volume, and Batherson is getting 17 minutes of ice time (28% share of possible ice time) on the top line and first-unit power play all season, giving us plenty of opportunities for this to cash.
When Batherson is on the ice, the Sens are constantly generating chances, with the winger owning a 76% on-ice expected goals percentage — 13th in the NHL. With the puck in the offensive zone, Batherson will be lurking.

An elite playmaker in his own right, quarterbacking the fifth-best power play in hockey will lend its hand to opportunities tonight.
The Golden Knights are hot to start the season and are third in expected goals and high-danger shots. The volume will be there tonight; let's see Marner capitalize.
