The Edmonton Oilers' big guns have been loud as Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl have combined for nine points through two games, while the Florida Panthers' best players have been much quieter.

The Oilers have been the better team through two games, but now the series is shifting back to South Florida, where the Panthers will step up in front of the home crowd.

Let's dive into this series as we seek out anytime goalscorers with my NHL player props on Monday, June 9.

NHL anytime goalscorer picks for Oilers vs Panthers Game 3

  • Panthers Verhaeghe (+210)
  • Panthers Lundell (+370)
  • Oilers McDavid (+150)

Oilers vs Panthers anytime goalscorer props for tonight

Carter Verhaeghe (+210 at BET99)

The Florida Panthers need more from Carter Verhaeghe if they're going to win back-to-back Stanley Cups.

Despite having three assists through the two games, Verhaeghe is primarily known for his goal-scoring abilities, and he has one goal in his last six postseason games. That said, Verhaeghe has 11 shot attempts this series.

Since the 2023 postseason, only two players (Leon Draisaitl and Sam Bennett) have tallied more playoff goals than Verhaghe's 24. This postseason, Verhaeghe has tallied six goals through 19 games while averaging 2.26 shots per game.

Verhaeghe's line with Matthew Tkachuk and Bennett has been one of the best threesomes in the playoffs, and they will certainly get scoring chances tonight.

Anton Lundell (+370 at BET99)

Anton Lundell has shown how important he is to this roster with the chemistry that he has formed with Brad Marchand and Eetu Luostarinen. Their line has come up big time and again. Their line has boasted a 54.1% expected goals percentage and a 2.51 expected goals per 60.

Lundell has tallied five goals this postseason but has only scored once in his last seven games. After adding two assists in the Game 2 win, and also putting four shots on goal, Lundell has come close to breaking through, and the +370 pricetag is giving our NHL picks excellent value.

Connor McDavid (+150 at BET99)

Connor McDavid has, hands down, been the best player in this entire series, but he has yet to find the back of the net. The Edmonton Oilers captain has five assists through two games, but he's also had 16 shot attempts, with 11 being on goal.

McDavid leads the entire postseason with 31 points through 18 games but only has six goals. That said, all of his goals have come up at huge times, especially his latest tally, which was in their closeout win against the Dallas Stars.

McDavid is averaging 3.71 shots per game this postseason, and his line with Ryan Nugent-Hopkins and Corey Perry has a 56.5% expected goals and a 2.98 expected goals per 60.
