Titans vs Jaguars Predictions, Picks & Best Bets for NFL Week 18

Tony Pollard needs just 66 rushing yards to hit a contract incentive. The problem facing the RB is that the Jaguars defense has been elite all year. Jacksonville won't take it easy, either, as it can still clinch the top AFC seed.

The Jacksonville Jaguars need a win to secure the AFC South and could even still get the No. 1 seed in the AFC with some help. They will need to take down the 3-13 Tennessee Titans, whose draft positioning will benefit strongly from a loss.

The Jaguars won the last matchup in Week 13 in Nashville, 25-3, in a game with a lot of punting and little run game on either side.

As such, my Titans vs. Jaguars predictions and NFL picks are fading Tony Pollard on Sunday, January 4.

Titans vs Jaguars prediction

Titans vs Jaguars Best bet: Tony Pollard Under 67.5 rushing yards (-114)

The Jacksonville Jaguars beat the Tennessee Titans 25-3 when they last met five weeks ago. The Jaguars continued their dominance in defending opposing running backs, allowing 59 combined yards between Tony Pollard and Tyjae Spears.

Since it's Week 18, there are not a ton of NFL player props available, and they may not be until closer to kick-off, if at all.

However, we do have a line on Pollard’s rushing yards, and it is set way too high for this matchup. And it's all because Pollard needs 66 rushing yards to hit a contract incentive.

The Jaguars are the only team in the NFL not to allow any player to rush for at least 75 yards in a single game this season. In fact, they have faced a running back with a rushing yard prop of at least 60.5 yards eight times this season, and those running backs are 8-0 to the Under.

The game script should also help us here, but the Titans may not care too much about that and simply force-feed Pollard for his incentive. If you can find a Spears Under, I would prefer that play, but I also love getting Pollard Under this huge number given the matchup against a defense that will be playing to win.

Titans vs Jaguars same-game parlay

The Jags are 3-0 against the spread as favorites by more than six points, and the Titans are 1-4 ATS in division games.

Finally, I am taking Parker Washington to find the end zone. He has been a monster recently in yards after the catch and has 10 targets in each of the last two games.

Titans vs Jaguars SGP

  • Tony Pollard Under 67.5 rushing yards
  • Jaguars -12.5
  • Parker Washington anytime touchdown

Our big-ticket SGP: Scramble Mode

Trevor Lawrence had 25 yards rushing in the last matchup with the Titans, and they can get pressure up the middle, which will force Lawrence to scramble more out of the pocket.

Titans vs Jaguars SGP

  • Tony Pollard Under 67.5 rushing yards
  • Jaguars -12.5
  • Parker Washington anytime touchdown
  • Trevor Lawrence Over 17. rushing yards

Titans vs Jaguars odds

  • Spread: Titans +12.5 (-105) | Jaguars -12.5 (-115)
