The Chicago Bears and New England Patriots are both looking to get back on track after a few disappointing weeks. The Bears have lost two straight games while the Patriots came back down to Earth last week for their seventh loss in the last eight games.

D’Andre Swift Over 71.5 rushing yards (-115 at BetMGM)

My analysis

Chicago Bears running back D’Andre Swift only had 51 rushing yards last week, but he has a great matchup here against the New England Patriots defense. The Pats are allowing the seventh-most rushing yards in the league at 136.9 per game, and Swift has been able to go Over 71.5 rushing yards in most of his games this season.

Prior to last week’s dud in Arizona, Swift ran for 129, 91, 73, and 93 yards in his previous four games. Those last three all came at home, where the Bears seem to play well in front of their faithful fans.

Furthermore, the Patriots have allowed a running back to go Over 71.5 rushing yards in each of the past six weeks. Tony Pollard, Breece Hall, Tank Bigsby, Joe Mixon, Dameon Pierce, Jaylen Wright, Raheem Mostert, and Jordan Mason have all ran for at least 75 yards against the Patriots.

The game script should also lead to the Bears attempting to run the clock in the second half, which means more opportunities for Swift to take off.
