Week 4 is shaping up to be an exciting one for our staff parlay picks. A new leader has emerged, the defending champ is building momentum, and a last-place team swings for the fences. Check out the picks below!

Week 3 saw some movement in our staff NFL picks battle royale.

Defending champ Andrew Caley scored his second-straight cash, putting himself back in contention. But he - and everyone else - still has to put in work to catch Rohit Ponnaiya, the only one left with a flawless record after stinging his teaser for the third-straight week.

Now that some of the early-season uncertainty is starting to settle, the next few weeks will be crucial. Contrasting strategies are emerging, with some of our staff taking a more conservative route, while others are already throwing Hail Marys.

In case you've missed the first few weeks, here's how it works:

Each week, the members of the Covers editorial staff will provide their best parlay and NFL teaser bets of the week. In previous years, these picks were restricted to just totals, spreads and moneylines but this year everything is in play. Player props, derivatives: if you can find a place to bet it, it's fair game.

Let's get into it with our Week 4 picks:

Teaser Picks Week 4

Andrew Caley, Senior Editor (@Covers_Caley) ***Defending Champion***

Back-to-back cashes for The Champ! (My opponents should get used to that phrase). Let's go for three in a row! The 'Stash and Joey B should sling it vs some sketchy Ds. It's hard to see Russ losing to the 'Phins. And the Chiefs and Pats shouldn't have a problem with this lowered total.

PICK: 6-point teaser (Jaguars-Bengals Over 43, Seahawks -0.5, Chiefs-Patriots Over 46.5) +160
Season: +2.2 units

Jason Logan, Senior Industry Analyst (@CoversJLo)

I’m down three units so far but it’s not time to press the panic button. “Slow and steady wins the race”. I think John Candy said that, and he was a great man. I’m using the 6-point teaser to boost Cleveland to +10.5 at Dallas, move Arizona-Carolina Under 57 and Giants-Rams Under 54. Also, I think I’ll re-watch Spaceballs this weekend. It’s been too long.

PICK: 6-point teaser (Cleveland +10.5, Arizona-Carolina Under 57, N.Y. Giants-L.A. Rams Under 54) +160
Season: -3.0 units

Rob Hansen, Content Coordinator (@Mookie_45)

There once was a quarterback named Nick
Who apparently has a very big d***.
They will allow him to start,
Which may prove to be smart.
The Bears plus nine points is the pick.

PICK: 6.5-point teaser (Bears +9, Packers -0.5, Bills/Raiders Under 59) +140
Season: +2.2 units

Rohit Ponnaiya, Digital Content Producer (@Covers_Ro)

Three straight teaser-parlay wins in a row, so let's keep it going as we back three of the most dynamic QBs in the league against some of the worst teams. Lamar Jackson and Baltimore will take out their anger from MNF against Washington, Russell Wilson and unbeaten Seattle will best Miami, while Kyler Murray and the Cards will take care of business versus Carolina.

PICK: 6-point teaser (Baltimore -8, Seattle PK, Arizona +2.5) +160
Season: +4.8 units

Jameson Mossman, Social Media Coordinator (@Covers_JaMo)

Was backing the Chargers a mistake?…Yes.

Does it make it worse that they almost scored on a trick play at the end of the game to win it...YUPPPP!

Why do when we fall? So, we can learn to not to back the Chargers! Now on to week 4. Mahomes is doing Mahomes things, Kyler will rebound, and there simply isn’t a world where the Dolphins beat the Seahawks with Russ cooking, right...RIGHT!?!?

PICK: 3 team, six-point teaser (Seattle 0, KC -1, Arizona +2.5) +160
Season: -0.4 units

Jared Hochman, Publishing Editor (@JLHoch)

Sitting in the basement isn't fun, but somebody's gotta do it.

Let's try and get on the board this week by teasing the Cardinals up to +3 against the Panthers, then shifting the Chiefs to -0.5 at home against the Pats and the Rams to down -6.5 against the G-Men.

PICK: 6-point teaser (Arizona +3, Kansas City -0.5, LA Rams -6.5) +160
Season: -3.0 units

Parlay Picks Week 2

Brandon DuBreuil, Content Manager (@CoversBD)

Got a win last week but the Philadelphia push made it a small one. This week, I’m taking the same approach with a two moneyline plays on teams I don’t see losing at home and two alternative spreads to get those big numbers below the keys of six and seven.

PICK: Parlay (Bal -5.5, TB ML, LAR -5.5, SF ML) +210
Season: +2.08 units

AJ Salah, Publishing Editor (@Salas42_)

We narrowly missed a game-breaker parlay last week, so let's see if we can't bink here.

Fading the Bills in Vegas. They've beaten two shitty teams and came wayyyy too close to blowing a 28-3 lead against the Rams. Liking the Texans, who've had a disgusting schedule so far and will be hungry for that first win. Lastly, pounding the Seahawks/Dolphins Over 54 since both these teams can score in bunches, while also being scored on in bunches, with Seattle's slew of injuries on D.

PICK: Parlay, Las Vegas +3, Houston -3.5, Seattle/Miami Over 54 +682
Season: +2.25 units

Patrick Everson, Senior Writer (@Covers_Vegas)

I think I’m still above the waterline, barely. So here we go, standard parlay: Texans –3.5 vs Vikings, because Houston got a brutal first-three-weeks schedule. Deshaun Watson and Co. are due. Cowboys –4.5 vs Browns, because Cleveland gonna Cleveland, hopefully. And Bears getting 2.5 at home with Nick Foles under center vs. Colts.

PICK: Houston -3.5, Dallas -4.5, Chicago +2.5 +624
Season: +0.64 units

Josh Inglis, NFL Writer (@inglis_josh4)

It's been a sad start for team Jinglis in this competition. I feel like the Jets, without all the injuries. We've still got a long way to go in the season and Week 4 will be the start of the climb to the summit. As the rookie this year, I should keep my yap shut, but what's the fun in that, especially when you're losing? I am about to go all Rypien on these bums and catapult my way into the lead with this no-sweat Week 4 lineup.

PICK: 3-team Dog ML Cleveland ML, Chicago ML, Las Vegas ML +1,400
Season: -3.0 units
