The Buffalo Bills and New York Jets will clash at Highmark Stadium on Sunday, January 4.

My Jets vs. Bills predictions and NFL picks expect Buffalo to steamroll New York in Week 18.

Jets vs Bills prediction

Jets vs Bills Best bet: Bills -7.5 (-115)

The Buffalo Bills land the perfect opponent to get back on track offensively and post a convincing Week 18 win. It’s been a bad season for the New York Jets, and it’s only gotten worse over the past four weeks.

The Jets have dropped four straight by an average of 26.8 points per game, and they’ve also failed to cover the spread in all four.

New York also ranks 31st in defensive DVOA while allowing the third-highest EPA and 38.3 points per game

With Buffalo No. 1 quarterback Josh Allen nursing a foot injury, the Bills could potentially turn to backup quarterback Mitchell Trubisky for the majority of this game, but I’m confident Trubisky can move the offense and score against this New York defense.

Additionally, Jets QB Brady Cook has been lost since taking over. He’s posted an NFL low EPA+CPOE composite while throwing for just 5.2 yards per attempt and a 58.8 completion percentage during the four-game losing streak.

Jets vs Bills game predictions

Jets vs Bills moneyline prediction

Even if Buffalo opts to rest Allen for a large portion of Sunday’s game, I still give the Bills a massive advantage at quarterback. This is Trubisky’s second season with the club after also playing with Buffalo in 2021, and he has 57 NFL career starts on his resume.

Prediction: Bills moneyline

Jets vs Bills spread prediction

A six-point teaser moves the Buffalo spread down to -1.5, and is a highly recommended leg. In addition to all the highlighted cases for the Bills, this being the final game at Highmark Stadium should make life all the more difficult for the New York offense and Cook.

Jets vs Bills Over/Under prediction

The Over has hit in four of the past five New York games, and this is also Buffalo's lowest total of the season. As a result, I lean to the Over because the Bills will have more than enough success on offense to lead the way, with the Jets scoring just enough to push the total Over the number.

Prediction: Over 40.5

Jets vs Bills odds

  • Spread: Jets +11.5 (-110) | Bills -11.5 (-110)
  • Moneyline: Jets +450 | Bills -625
  • Over/Under: Over 40.5 (-105) | Under 40.5 (-115)
