Best waiver wire targets for Week 2

WR Devaughn Vele, Saints: 40+ receiving yards

Kalshi probability: 55%

Devaughn Vele is still just 20% rostered and needs to be picked up ASAP if he's still on your wire. He was the perfect complement to Chris Olave in Week 1, hauling in seven catches for 69 yards and a touchdown against a serviceable secondary in Detroit.

Vele's nine targets ranked second on the team, and if we see anywhere near that type of volume, he should be able to fly past this number, even against a tough Baltimore Ravens defense.

WR Caleb Douglas, Dolphins: 40+ receiving yards

Kalshi probability: 45%

Caleb Douglas is the undisputed No. 1 receiver on the Miami Dolphins and is still only 21% rostered. The Fins are a bad football team and should be playing in a negative game script virtually all year.

What does that mean? A high volume of targets for Douglas; what does that mean for fantasy? A ton of opportunity for points, especially if you're in a PPR league.

In Week 1, Douglas caught five balls on seven targets for 94 yards, and with an upcoming tough game against the San Francisco 49ers, the offense will be in catch-up mode early. Invest in 40+ receiving yards, and dabble in 50+ receiving yards as you see fit.

WR Mike Gesicki, Bengals: 15+ receiving yards

Kalshi probability: 64%

Mike Gesicki is a lost weapon in an offense that features Tee Higgins and Ja'Marr Chase. He delivered in Week 1, leading the team with 78 yards and a touchdown on five catches and seven targets. He could be in line for a similar workload against the Houston Texans, who coughed up 130 yards on five catches to Dalton Kincaid.

Gesicki is an athletic tight end who could finally be in the right spot for a breakout season and is still just 5% rostered. If you have a TE1 you want to ride with, keep an eye on him as a potential streamer.

You might not get the chance to pick Gesicki up if he goes off in Week 2.
