The Philadelphia Eagles don’t have much to play for in Week 18, and would need some help to move up a seed, so it’s looking like they’ll rest Jalen Hurts and a few other starters when they host the Washington Commanders on Sunday afternoon.
The Birds’ backups may still be able to take down those Commanders, though, who have had plenty of injuries themselves.

Commanders vs Eagles Best bet: Under 39.5 (-115)
The Philadelphia Eagles were in a similar situation last year in Week 18, coming out with a 20-13 win over the Giants with backup Tanner McKee leading the offense. This could very well have a final score in that same ballpark.
The Washington Commanders should struggle to move the ball against the Birds, who held Washington to 10 points until the final two minutes a few weeks ago. They only had 90 rushing yards and 130 passing yards in that game as well.
The Birds are resting up for the playoffs, and the Commanders can’t wait for the offseason. There should be a distinct lack of scoring on Sunday in Philadelphia.
Commanders vs Eagles same-game parlay
Eagles backup running back Tank Bigsby has seen some usage in blowouts this season, and he’s impressed. He racked up 104 yards on nine carries against the Giants back in October, and 57 yards on 17 carries against the Raiders in December.
Bigsby then scored the following week in Washington, and should be the lead back with the Eagles resting their starters. To top it all off, the Commanders have allowed at least one running back touchdown in seven straight games.
