The Indianapolis Colts and Daniel Jones are the pleasant surprise of the NFL so far at 3-0. They own one of the best offenses in the league based on raw statistics, but they are about to get a fierce test on the road in Inglewood, CA when they take on the Los Angeles Rams. Kickoff comes your way at 4:05 p.m. ET on FOX.

The Colts' run defense is going to get a heavy dose of the Rams' now possibly two-headed backfield, meaning Blake Corum props could be undervalued.

Here are my Colts vs. Rams predictions and NFL picks for Sunday, September 28.

Colts vs Rams prediction

Colts vs Rams Best bet: Blake Corum Over 22.5 rushing yards (-114)

Second year running back Blake Corum is starting to become a bigger part of the offense and the Los Angeles Rams backfield is no longer just the bell cow Kyren Williams. Last year as a rookie, Corum saw very little action, but in his second season, he is seeing a gradual increase in workload.

Corum had just one carry in Week 1 but saw an increase to five carries in Week 2 and then another increase to eight carries last week. As he continues to produce, averaging 7.1 yards per carry this season, his workload will continue to raise in volume.

The Indianapolis Colts run defense was always expected to be their biggest weakness this season, but they have been solid through three weeks. A big reason for that is lack of volume from opponents since they have been winning handedly, especially against two bad teams.

However, this game they are underdogs, and the Rams will likely be playing with a lead or in a one possession game for most of the game. This should give Corum enough workload to hit this low number against a defense that gives up 4.8 yards per carry.

Colts vs Rams same-game parlay

To add to my best bet, I am going to add the Over, as this Colts offense is not a fluke.

Finally, I am taking Daniel Jones to clear his passing number, as he is excellent against the blitz and can get the ball out quickly.

Colts vs Rams SGP

  • Blake Corum Over 20.5 rushing yards
  • Over 49.5
  • Daniel Jones Over 217.5 passing yards

Our big-ticket SGP: No sophomore slump!

Corum not only will hit his rushing total here but will also find the endzone. He has been getting looks in the redzone and has a touchdown already this season.

Colts vs Rams SGP

  • Blake Corum Over 20.5 rushing yards
  • Daniel Jones Over 217.5 passing yards
  • Blake Corum anytime touchdown
  • Over 49.5

Colts vs Rams game predictions

Colts vs Rams moneyline prediction

Unfortunately, this is where the Colts hot streak ends. Rams need a big win at home to keep pace in the hot NFC West.

Colts vs Rams spread prediction

The Colts are getting most of the sharp money here moving this spread from 6.5 to 3.5. Even though I like the Rams to win, the Colts will keep it within a field goal.

Colts vs Rams Over/Under prediction

The Over is getting 58% of the money despite getting only 37% of the bets and the total has moved from 46.5 to 49.5.

Colts vs Rams odds

  • Spread: Colts +4.5 (-115) | Rams -4.5 (-105)
  • Moneyline: Colts +170 | Rams -210
  • Over/Under: Over 47.5 (-110) | Under 47.5 (-110)
