The Patrick Mahomes-less Kansas City Chiefs, who are already eliminated from playoff contention, will head to Nashville on Sunday to face the Tennessee Titans at Nissan Stadium.

Kansas City’s defense is still solid, and my Chiefs vs. Titans predictions are eyeing them to contain Cam Ward in Week 16.

Chiefs vs Titans prediction

Chiefs vs Titans Best bet: Cam Ward Under 179.5 passing yards (-114)

Cam Ward has definitely had his road bumps in Year 1 after going first overall in April’s NFL draft.

The Miami product has thrown for just 2,638 yards and 11 touchdowns against seven interceptions. Playing for a struggling franchise like the Tennessee Titans hasn’t been easy.

The quarterback has cashed the Under in passing yards in three straight appearances, finishing with 170 yards through the air last weekend in a loss to the San Francisco 49ers.

While the Kansas City Chiefs may be missing the playoffs, they’re still fifth in fewest total yards allowed, and Andy Reid’s pass defense is also 13th in fewest yards allowed through the air.

Ward doesn’t have a lot of weapons to work with, and he hasn’t cashed the Over since late November. The Chiefs are still motivated to finish the campaign on a high note, and I believe they will keep Ward under wraps in Week 16.

Chiefs vs Titans same-game parlay

Travis Kelce has had a couple of crucial drops this season, but he’s still one of the Chiefs’ top pass-catchers, reeling in 67 receptions for 797 yards and five touchdowns. Kelce has cashed the Over in receiving yards in six of his last eight, and two of his last three.

Kareem Hunt has proven to be reliable this year at running back for K.C., but after a quiet performance in Week 15, his total is incredibly low here.

Hunt was limited to only six carries for 12 yards, but before that, he hit the Over in rushing yards in six straight games, running for at least 30 yards in each of those contests.
