The Buccaneers offense is finally healthy, and our SGP for this matchup with the Panthers is bullish on Baker Mayfield through the air and Sean Tucker on the ground.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Carolina Panthers will hit Bank of America Stadium for a pivotal NFC South showdown full of postseason implications on Sunday, December 21.

My top same-game parlay NFL picks have you covered for the tilt and are calling for Tampa Bay quarterback Baker Mayfield to rise to the occasion and help the Bucs cover the number in Week 16.

Buccaneers vs Panthers same-game parlay

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers did a lot right for the bulk of their Week 15 loss on Thursday Night Football to the Atlanta Falcons, and quarterback Baker Mayfield will lead the way against a struggling Carolina Panthers defense Sunday afternoon.

The Panthers have been gashed through the air the past two games for a 68.9 completion percentage and 8.44 yards per target while allowing the fifth-highest dropback success rate and ranking 24th in pass defense DVOA.

So, now that Mayfield has his full receiving corps back on the field, he can pick apart a Carolina defense generating QB pressure at the second-lowest rate in the NFL and ranking 31st in PFF pass rush grade.

Turning to the Carolina offense, there’s been limited roar from the Black Cats. Quarterback Bryce Young sports below-average marks in YPA, aDoT, and EPA_CPOE composite, and the Tampa Bay defense can largely hold the Panthers' rushing attack in check.

The Bucs rank 10th in rush defense DVOA while allowing the fourth-lowest rushing success rate, after all.

With Carolina surrendering seven rushing touchdowns through their past four games, I’m eyeing Tampa back Sean Tucker to find the end zone for the sixth time across his past six games.

He’s been given a team-high five red-zone carries the past two weeks, and all seven of his touchdowns have come over the past nine games, too.
