The Denver Broncos are set up to control this game from the opening kick, and that means J.K. Dobbins is the back you want to circle for Monday night. Sean Payton’s backfields are often unpredictable, but last week was telling — Dobbins logged a season-high snap share even in a neutral script, and through four weeks he owns a commanding 75% of Denver’s running back carries. Add in his involvement as a pass-catcher, and it’s clear he’s emerging as the centerpiece of this backfield.
We’ve already seen how volume backs can thrive in blowouts. Just last week, Jordan Mason ripped off 116 yards and two touchdowns on 16 carries, even though Minnesota was buried 34–3 by halftime. Now, with the Broncos expected to dominate time of possession against a softer defense, Dobbins should have every opportunity to pile up yardage and find the end zone. If he stays on the field the way he did a week ago, this could be his true breakout performance in Denver.
If that's not enough, the Broncos' defense should wreak havoc on a weak Cincinnati Bengals offensive line and force Jake Browning into plenty of mistakes.
