UMass vs Ohio prediction

UMass vs Ohio best bet: Sieh Bangura Over 96.5 rushing yards (-114)

Ohio Bobcats running back Sieh Bangura is in a good spot on Tuesday night to have a big rushing night against the UMass Minutemen.

The Ohio star is closing in on his second 1,000+ yard season. He’s gaining 5.4 yards per attempt with at least 15 rushing attempts in seven consecutive games.

Bangura has already posted five 100+ yard rushing games this season, proving he’s the engine of the Bobcats' offense, especially when Ohio controls the game script.

The Bobcats' leading ground gainer faces a UMass defense that has struggled all season, allowing 201 rushing yards per game and 4.47 yards per attempt.

Bangura has rushed for 97 or more yards in five of his previous seven games and should get at least that many on Tuesday.

UMass vs Ohio same-game parlay

Bangura isn’t the only Bobcat who excels on the ground. Ohio quarterback Parker Navarro has rushed for 56 or more yards in five of his previous seven games.

Ohio wideout Chase Hendricks has hauled in more than 73.5 receiving yards in seven of 10 games this season and faces a UMass defense that allows 12.5 yards per reception and 239 passing yards per game.

UMass vs Ohio SGP

  • Sieh Bangura Over 96.5 rushing yards
  • Parker Navarro Over 55.5 rushing yards
  • Chase Hendricks Over 73.5 receiving yards

Our deep-ball SGP: Going to the Ground

Navarro has only thrown three or more scoring strikes in a single game once and two TD passes twice this season. Navarro slinging at least three scoring strikes seems ambitious.

  • Parker Navarro Over 55.5 rushing yards
  • Chase Hendricks Over 73.5 receiving yards
  • Parker Navarro Under 2.5 passing touchdowns
