The Florida State Seminoles will look to reverse a two-game losing streak on Saturday afternoon as they host the Pittsburgh Panthers in an ACC showdown.
The Seminoles have looked vulnerable defensively over the past two weeks, and I’m expecting the Panthers to keep things close enough to cover in my Pittsburgh vs. Florida State predictions.

Pittsburgh vs Florida State best bet: Pittsburgh +10.5 (-118 at FanDuel)
The Florida State Seminoles were on top of the world three weeks into the season, but two straight losses have brought expectations for FSU crashing back to Earth in a hurry.
Last weekend’s 28-22 loss doesn’t look bad in a vacuum, but considering the Seminoles were down 28-3 in the fourth quarter and coming off a 46-38 loss to the Virginia Cavaliers, the mood is not good in Tallahassee.
Still, there’s hope that a powerful offense will be enough to get Florida State back into the win column starting this week against Pittsburgh.
Tommy Castellanos has struggled with turning the ball over, but is moving the ball effortlessly, with the Seminoles averaging 15.6 yards per completion on the year.
But Pittsburgh can score points too, coming off a 48-point performance against the Boston College Eagles. And the Panthers are absolutely shutting down opponents on the ground, giving up just 1.7 yards per rushing attempt.
That should be enough to keep the Panthers in the game, even if I don’t think they’ll ultimately score enough to win this one outright.
I’m taking Pittsburgh and the points as they could easily keep the final within single digits.

While I like Pittsburgh to cover the sizable spread, I think both teams are going to put up big numbers on offense.
My favorite touchdown prop is on Seminoles receiver Duce Robinson, who has three touchdowns this season and has caught 15 balls for 234 yards in this last two weeks.
