The Week 0 slate is the perfect teaser ahead of college football returning in full next week, with eight FBS games on Saturday, Aug. 29.
Kicking off all the action is a rematch of North Carolina and TCU in Ireland, a game that's historically been low scoring, which is why it's my favorite to target with my college football Over/Under picks.
Two of my other favorite Over/Under college football picks for Week 0 focus on an FCS powerhouses first game as a member of the FBS and a complete Group of 6-Power 4 mismatch.

Expert Week 0 CFB Over/Under picks
North Carolina vs TCU: Under 47.5
In the three previous Week 0 matchups from Aviva Stadium in Ireland, the game total hit exactly 45 points. And while I don't think North Carolina and TCU hit that same number, I do think we see an even lower number.
Both teams are starting new QBs (UNC's Billy Edwards Jr. is among the worst in the P4), and both have defenses ranked Top 40 in SP+'s preseason ratings.
The field conditions could also play a role, with Aviva Stadium being natural grass and the forecast calling for a 91% chance of precipitation leading up to the game.
Jacksonville State vs North Dakota State: Over 46.5
Though this is North Dakota State's FBS debut, the Bison should have no trouble rolling on offense against this Jacksonville State defense.
NDSU's new starting QB, Nathan Hayes, has been in the program for years and can take advantage of a Gamecocks defense that was 102nd in defensive SP+ last season and allowed 25+ points eight times. In Tim Polasek's two seasons leading NDSU, it's averaged over 38 PPG.
But Jacksonville State's run game should help the Over, too. The Gamecocks were 43rd in EPA per rush last season and Cayden Creel is one of the top G6 duel-threat QBs.
New Mexico State vs Florida State: Under 53.5
New Mexico State has ranked outside the Top 100 nationally in PPG and offensive SP+ in each of Tony Sanchez's first two seasons as head coach.
This is just the third time the Aggies have played a P4 program under Sanchez, but in six games against the P4 as UNLV's head coach and the two with New Mexico State, his team has averaged 12.4 PPG.
Florida State's defense should be improved this season, too. It added several key transfers and returns budding star Mandrell Desir. But the Seminoles' offense? It could take a few drives to click with a transfer QB and four transfers on the O-line.
