There will be electric playmakers all over the field in the College Football Playoff Semifinal at the Fiesta Bowl.

For the Miami Hurricanes, it’s all about Mark Fletcher Jr. and Malachi Toney. For the Mississippi Rebels, Trinidad Chambliss and Kewan Lacy are front-and-center.

But those guys offer little value when it comes to finding the end zone, so my Miami vs. Mississippi anytime touchdown picks look a little further down the board, and out wide.

CJ Daniels (+150 at FanDuel)

With Mark Fletcher Jr. powering the running game and electric freshman Malachi Toney out wide, CJ Daniels is a bit of a forgotten man in the Miami Hurricanes offense.

But Daniels began the year as Carson Beck’s favorite target. The big-bodied receiver caught 33 balls for 351 yards and six touchdowns in the Hurricanes’ first seven games.

Then an injury cost him four games, and he’s just getting back up to speed. Daniels caught five balls for 49 yards in the Cotton Bowl, and he looks like a great bet to return to the end zone in this one.

Mississippi anytime touchdown pick

De'Zhaun Stribling (+200 at FanDuel)

Mississippi Rebels wideout De’Zhaun Stirbling has been building some excellent chemistry with quarterback Trinidad Chambliss lately.

Stribling has been targeted 24 times, catching 20 of them for 343 yards and four scores over the Rebels' last four games. That includes going for a big 122 yards on seven catches against Georgia in the Sugar Bowl.

Miami has a strong pass defense based on its pass rush, but if Chambliss can get the ball out quickly, or extend plays with his legs, the Canes can be a little vulnerable, making a touchdown that pays out at 2-to-1 a great play.
