Malachi Toney has been a touchdown machine down the stretch, and we expect the Hurricanes’ WR1 to showcase his paydirt prowess on Monday night.

The Miami Hurricanes have stormed their way to the College Football Playoff National Championship Game, riding a seven-game winning streak into a marquee matchup against the No. 1-ranked Indiana Hoosiers.

But with "The U" listed as nearly double-digit underdogs, they’ll need big performances from their playmakers to pull off the upset. With that in mind, here are my favorite Miami anytime touchdown picks for Monday, January 19.

Malachi Toney anytime touchdown

+150 at FanDuel

Malachi Toney is one of the most electric players in this National Championship Game. While Indiana boasts an elite, disciplined defense, Toney has the game-breaking ability to make defenders miss and turn opportunities into scores.

Miami has made a concerted effort to get its dynamic playmaker the ball in a variety of ways down the stretch. He’s been targeted 59 times, hauling in 45 catches, six for touchdowns, and has scored in five of his last six games.

CJ Daniels anytime touchdown

+270 at FanDuel

Hurricanes tight end Elijah Lofton has already been ruled out for this game, so if Carson Beck needs a big-bodied security blanket, wideout CJ Daniels is the likely option.

Daniels was one of Beck’s favorite targets earlier in the season, totaling 33 catches for 351 yards and six touchdowns over Miami’s first seven games.

While Daniels hasn’t scored in the playoffs yet, he’s been targeted 16 times across three CFP games.

CharMar Brown anytime touchdown

+300 at FanDuel

Although Mark Fletcher Jr. is Miami’s lead running back, having CharMar Brown behind him makes the Hurricanes’ run game even more dangerous.

Brown was last year’s FCS Freshman of the Year with National Champion North Dakota State, and the sophomore has earned Miami’s trust in key spots late in the season. Over his last five games, he’s totaled 37 carries for 150 yards and four touchdowns.

If “The U” needs to punch one in against a stout Indiana defense, Brown could get the call, making his +290 anytime TD odds enticing.

Find the balance between the numbers and what you see on the playing field. Then find the best price using multiple books. And don’t ask him where the nickname Taco comes from. It's not an interesting story. Seriously.
