Put your hand up if you thought Texas Christian University would still be playing football in January. Anyone? Anyone at all?

You're not alone if you overlooked the Horned Frogs when the 2022 season began. TCU started the year with distant +15,000 odds to win the College Football Playoff National Championship Game. Now, after slaying one giant after another, they're just 60 minutes away from being the last team standing.

The final Goliath in TCU's path is Georgia, and the Bulldogs are one behemoth not to be taken lightly. The reigning champs had the eighth most prolific offense in the country and the second stingiest defense, holding opposing teams to just 12.8 points per game. Their pristine 13-0 record is a testament to their complete dominance on both sides of the ball and it's hardly surprising that oddsmakers have them pegged as huge favorites tonight.

TCU vs Georgia best odds

The Bulldogs opened as prohibitive 13.5-point favorites on New Year's Day, and that line has held firm despite optimism from some bettors that TCU can pull off one final upset.

The point total, meanwhile, opened at 61.5 and is available as high as 63.5 at multiple sportsbooks. Both teams went Over in their last outing and possess two of the most prolific offenses in the nation.
