With wins in seven of their last eight, the Wisconsin Badgers hit the road to take on the Indiana Hoosiers in Big Ten action this afternoon.

Despite the streak, the Hoosiers are tough to play at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall, which is why I’m taking the home team in my Wisconsin vs. Indiana predictions.

Wisconsin vs Indiana prediction

Wisconsin vs Indiana best bet: Indiana -4.5 (Odds)

Wisconsin ranks fourth in scoring in the conference at 83.2 points per game, but Indiana's seventh-ranked offense can keep up.

The big question is whether the Hoosiers’ 3-point defense holds up. They allow just a 31% rate from distance but will be tested against a Wisconsin side that ranks inside the Top 25 with 10.8 threes made per game.

Indiana has just two home losses, and the schedule has created a look-ahead spot. The Badgers play a couple of heavy hitters right after this game against No. 5-ranked Illinois and No. 10-ranked Michigan State.

I like Indiana getting back above .500 in conference play and moving up the ladder against a Badgers side that is likely looking past the Hoosiers.
