Arizona vs UCLA computer projections

Arizona is a 4.5-point favorite over UCLA in Las Vegas, and our computer projections have the Wildcats winning 79.25-71.45, a 7.8-point margin that clears the number by more than three points. That gap makes Arizona -4.5 the lead play here, backed by a team that went 36-3 and reached the Final Four last season, and by a rivalry in which the Wildcats have won seven of the last nine meetings, including a 69-65 victory last November.

The projected final adds up to 150.70 combined points, clearing the 150.5 total by just 0.2, so the Over is a slight lean at best (49%). Both teams are retooling their rotations after key departures, which makes this number tough to push either way.

Arizona's team total is projected to go Over, as 79.25 clears its 75.5 line by nearly four points (71%). UCLA's team total is projected to stay Under 71.5 (68%), though the 71.45 projection sits only 0.05 below the line, so that is a thin call.
