The NBA Cup Final has a marquee matchup worthy of a spot on the Las Vegas Strip.

One of the NBA’s most recognized franchises takes on one of the game's future greats when the New York Knicks battle against the San Antonio Spurs.

With this much star power, you know we’ve put together a juicy SGP for you to tail. For even more NBA picks, check out my Spurs vs. Knicks predictions.

Our best Spurs vs Knicks SGP for the NBA Cup Final

The New York Knicks are playing incredible basketball, but Victor Wembanyama is healthy and just led the San Antonio Spurs to a huge upset over the Thunder. What gives?

To me, the Knicks have the edge. I’m betting this game is decided on the 3-point line. Both teams rely on the 3-ball; San Antonio ranks ninth in both 3-point makes and percentage per game. New York ranks fourth and sixth in those categories.

And while both teams struggle defending the arc, the returning OG Anunoby sets the Knicks up nicely to be the better of the two teams in this area. In 10 games since his return, New York leads the NBA in opponent 3-point shooting percentage at just 32%.

The Knicks are the better shooting team overall and have the better perimeter defense. So, let’s start this SGP off with New York laying 2.5 points.

Anunoby can also do damage on offense. He's a career 37.7% shooting, and that's up to 40.8% in 16 games this season. He's also 9-for-17 (52.9%) from beyond the arc over his last three games, hitting 3+ twice during that stretch.

And you know we have to include Wemby, who hauled down nine rebounds in just 20 minutes of action against the Thunder. With some added minutes in this game, he should hit double digits on the glass tonight.

It's not an interesting story. Seriously.
