Rockets vs Mavericks prediction

Rockets vs Mavericks best bet: Kevin Durant Over 25.5 points (-110)

Kevin Durant has been everything the Houston Rockets could’ve asked for and more this season. The superstar is averaging 25.2 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 3.9 assists, helping lead Houston to an impressive 15-5 record.

He’s cashed the Over in points in two of his last three outings, scoring 28 points last time out in a revenge game against the Phoenix Suns on Friday evening. He also had 24 points on Wednesday while dropping 32 on the Utah Jazz at the beginning of the week.

While KD only had 21 earlier this season against the Dallas Mavericks, he cooked them in 2024-25. Across four meetings, he averaged 28.3 PPG. Dallas is not playing well, and Durant cashed the Over in his last game on the road on Monday.

I’ll take him to have another solid performance.

Rockets vs Mavericks same-game parlay

Cooper Flagg has had a lot of expectations on his shoulders as the number one overall pick. He’s put up productive numbers, averaging 17.2 points, 6.4 rebounds, and 3.3 assists so far.

Flagg has hit the Over in points in three of his last four, and even in his most recent game, the rookie finished with 16 points.

Flagg even erupted for 35 points a week ago against the Los Angeles Clippers. He’s averaging 17.3 PPG at home, and the youngster is playing with confidence at the moment.

Klay Thompson is shooting 35% from downtown this season, averaging 2.7 makes on 7.7 attempts per night. He's draining 40% of his threes in December so far, and the veteran has cashed the Over in six of his last seven.

Despite a 1-for-5 performance on Friday evening, Klay was 5-for-12 from beyond the arc on Wednesday evening. He's also shooting it better at home, averaging 3.0 makes compared to 2.3 on the road.
