NBA Sharp Money and Line Movement ReportBy Patrick Everson
Golden State landed on DraftKings' odds board as 5.5-point chalk and stretched to -6.5 early, but then came news that the Warriors are resting Stephen Curry, Draymond Green and Andrew Wiggins tonight. That sent the number tumbling to pick 'em. And yet the Warriors are still getting 91 percent of tickets and 89 percent of cash on the spread, as of 6:30 p.m. ET. The total also plunged, from 229.5 to 221, with 66 percent of tickets on the Over and 68 percent of dollars on the Under.Check out the full line movement for this game

Against the spread (ATS) pick
Golden State is definitely the chalkier pick in this game, but how could you back a New Orleans team that doesn’t stand to gain anything from a win? The Pelicans are officially eliminated from play-in tournament contention and would actually be better off losing this game in order to improve their odds in the NBA Draft Lottery. Meanwhile, the Warriors can hold off the Grizzlies for the eighth spot in the Western Conference by continuing to win games.
Without Zion Williamson, the Pelicans are also short on talent against this Warriors team. Even if Brandon Ingram ends up playing, New Orleans is going to have to find a way to keep up with Steph Curry, who has been flat-out remarkable this season. Also, Andrew Wiggins has been a menace defensively in isolation this year, so he should be able to make things difficult on Ingram here.
Realistically speaking, there’s a chance that New Orleans’ young guys, like Nickeil Alexander-Walker and Kira Lewis Jr., come out and play hard in the extended minutes they don’t normally get during the year, but it’s hard to pick against a Warriors team that needs this win and also happens to be cruising lately.
PREDICTION: Warriors -5.5 (-110)
The Pelicans and Warriors met twice early in May, and both of those games went Under the total. This one should be somewhat similar, especially with the Pelicans missing some of their best players. Also, this game has all the makings of a potential blowout, and that would play right into the hands of Under bettors. Games that get out of hand tend to slow down later in the second half.
PREDICTION: Under 230.5 (-110)
