Lakers vs Bucks best bet: Bucks +1 (-110)
Including Saturday’s contest, the Milwaukee Bucks will have been home dogs in half of their eight home games. Milwaukee has a 5-2 overall home record, 5-2 ATS, and they’ve not only covered two of the previous three times the visiting team was favored in Milwaukee, but they won them outright.
Overall, the Bucks are 4-2 this season when they’ve been at least 1.5-point underdogs and are 3-3 outright in those games.
At 6-2 away from home, the Los Angeles Lakers are tied for the most road wins in the NBA. However, a one-point win at Minnesota is the only road win the Lakers have against a team that currently sports a winning record. Los Angeles’ six road wins have come against teams that are a collective 27-47, 15-21 at home.
The Lakers are 2-2 on their current road trip and seem to be putting a great deal of stock in Friday’s “get-well” game against a depleted 2-10 New Orleans team.
The Bucks have been uneven in November, playing .500 ball for the month by alternating wins and losses. Even within the games, observers never seem to know which Milwaukee team they’ll get. The needed a fourth-quarter rally to force overtime against Charlotte, then were unbeatable in the extra period. The Bucks also needed a fourth-quarter rally to get past lowly Dallas earlier in the week.
The Lakers and Bucks are both star-heavy teams, and the matchup between Luka Doncic and Giannis Antetokounmpo will get the spotlight. Giannis had 25 points and a season-high 18 assists. Doncic had 24 points and 12 assists for the Lakers.
Austin Reaves also bounced back from a rough outing against OKC to score 31 in New Orleans, while all five Lakers starters were in double figures. The Bucks had the advantage of an 18-point overtime, but eight Bucks players reached double-digit scoring in Milwaukee’s win.
Our best bet is that a deeper, homestanding Milwaukee squad covers as a dog against a Lakers team eager to get back home.

The Bucks have gone over in three of their last four outings and should be able to continue the trend against a Lakers team that’s been over six of the last 10.
Bucks big man Myles Turner is only averaging 12.8 points per game on the season, but he has emerged as an offensive factor in recent games. In his first eight outings, he averaged 28 minutes a night. That’s gone up by nearly three full minutes in the last five games, and his shot attempts have increased at an even higher rate. After shooting 8.8 times a night in the first eight games, he’s shooting 12 times a game in the last five. As you’d expect, his scoring has reaped the benefit. He averaged 9.8 points per game in the first eight and scored at a 17.8 point clip in the last five.

Every NBA game seems to have that one rebounding prop where the odds just seem to be off. Perhaps it’s just a way of evening things up, since there are only so many rebounds to go around. Whatever the reason, Ryan Rollins seems to be the beneficiary in this game.
He’s averaging 4.0 and has had four or more in nine of his 13 games this season. Two of the four games where he didn’t hit that mark were when he had less than 30 minutes of playing time, something that hasn’t happened in the last five.
He's averaging 5.0 rebounds in the last five outings. He’s not a sure thing, but at his current odds price tag, the over is a no-brainer.
