The New York Knicks ride a three-game win streak into Frost Bank Center tonight, but the San Antonio Spurs will look to snap that streak and get back into the win column themselves after back-to-back losses.

My Knicks vs. Spurs predictions will take the home team and the points in this rematch of the NBA Cup Final.

Here are my best free NBA picks for New Year’s Eve.

Knicks vs Spurs prediction

Knicks vs Spurs best bet: Spurs -1.5 (-110)

The San Antonio Spurs have dropped two straight, but they'll be highly motivated to get back in the win column at home and close out 2025 on a high note.

Prior to dropping two straight, the Spurs won five in a row, including back-to-back victories over the Oklahoma City Thunder.

The Spurs are second in the Western Conference with a 23-10 record, and their 3-0 record against the Thunder showcases the quality of the team. San Antonio sports a 9-5-1 ATS record at home and a 7-5-1 ATS record as the home favorite.

The New York Knicks have won three straight, but the visiting team is just 3-11 ATS on the road, including 0-3 ATS as the road underdog.

Both teams rank in the Top-6 in Offensive Rating. The Spurs are sixth in Defensive Rating, but the Knicks are 16th. San Antonio boasts a 6.4 Net Rating at home. New York’s Net Rating is 11.7 at home but just 0.5 on the road.

I’m betting on a Spurs bounce-back tonight as they snap a two-game skid at home against a banged-up Knicks team that’s playing its third road game in four days.

Knicks vs Spurs same-game parlay

San Antonio ranks sixth in defensive rating, and the Spurs should be able to limit New York's offensive attack. The Knicks will be without Josh Hart and Mitchell Robinson, limiting New York's rebounding prowess and second-chance opportunities.

The Spurs are 4-9 to the Under as the home favorite, and the Knicks are 1-2 to the Under as the road underdog.

Victor Wembanyama has averaged 12.2 rebounds per game at home this season. He's grabbed 11+ rebounds in 13 of 20 games overall, including seven of 11 at home and four of his last six.

With Hart and Robinson sidelined and Wemby starting to find his groove back in the starting lineup, I'll take the Over on this modest rebound line.

Knicks vs Spurs SGP

  • Spurs -1.5
  • Under 235.5
  • Victor Wembanyama Over 10.5 rebounds

Our "from downtown" SGP: Fox gets back on track

De'Aaron Fox had a poor showing in his last game out, going for 14 points on 4-of-13 shooting, but I expect a bounce-back performance tonight. He's averaging 21.6 points per game this season, and he's scored 20+ in 16 of 23 appearances.

Devin Vassell is out and Steph Castle is banged up, which should mean additional offensive responsibilities for Fox.

Knicks vs Spurs SGP

  • Spurs -1.5
  • Under 235.5
  • Victor Wembanyama Over 10.5 rebounds
  • De'Aaron Fox Over 19.5 points

Knicks vs Spurs odds

  • Spread: New York +1.5 (-110) | San Antonio -1.5 (-110)
