Heat vs Magic Prediction, Picks & Odds for Tonight’s NBA Game

Even though he was rarely at full strength in 2024-25, Magic F Paolo Banchero shone whenever he was in the lineup. He will do so on opening night against the Heat, clearing his 24.5-point prop with relative ease.

Heat vs Magic prediction

Heat vs Magic best bet: Paolo Banchero Over 24.5 points (-115)

Paolo Banchero has been all the Orlando Magic could’ve asked for and more since he came into the league. Despite missing substantial time in 2024-25, the Duke product still put up solid numbers, averaging 25.9 points across 46 contests.

The Miami Heat are no prize defensively, and Banchero played even better at home last season, averaging 26.1 PPG. When it comes to facing the Heat, Banchero averaged 25.0 points per contest in ‘24-25 as well.

Entering a new campaign in full health is huge for the former first-overall pick, and I do think he’ll get started on the right foot. Take Banchero to have an impressive showing in front of the Orlando faithful tonight.

Heat vs Magic same-game parlay

Bam Adebayo is always a key figure for the Heat, especially as Miami heads into its first full campaign without Jimmy Butler. Last season, the big man averaged 18.1 points, but he averaged just 15.8 against the Magic.

Also, Adebayo was slightly worse on the road, putting up just under 18 PPG. I’ll take Orlando to contain the Kentucky product tonight – at least from a scoring standpoint.

Desmond Bane arrived in the offseason from the Memphis Grizzlies, and he should be a brilliant addition to the Magic. After all, he’s one of the best shooters in the Association. Bane drained 39% of his triples in ‘24-25, hitting 2.4 per contest.
