It’s been a brutal start for the reeling Los Angeles Clippers, and they’re road underdogs again tonight against an Orlando Magic team that’s found a nice rhythm after a sluggish first few weeks.

My Clippers vs. Magic predictions expect the hosts’ youth and defense to tilt the scales here.

Check out my NBA picks for a November 20 matchup that should have plenty of sizzle despite Kawhi Leonard and Paolo Banchero both being sidelined by injuries.

Clippers vs Magic prediction

Clippers vs Magic best bet: Magic -5.5 (-110)

The alarm bells have to be going off for the Los Angeles Clippers, with their record plunging to 4-10 amid a flurry of bad injury news. To make matters worse, this aging, plodding L.A. squad has to deal with the Orlando Magic's relentless hustle tonight at Kia Center.

That feels like a nightmare scenario for the visitors, who are just 1-5 on the road this year and short on consistent contributors beyond James Harden and Ivica Zubac. With Derrick Jones Jr. joining Kawhi and Bradley Beal on the injury report, Ty Lue is running out of levers to pull.

I’ll lay the points with the Magic. The hosts are coming off wins against the Golden State Warriors and New York Knicks, plus a narrow loss in Houston, and they’re 5-2 ATS in their past seven outings.

Orlando has picked up three straight victories at home, and balanced scoring seems to be the path forward until Banchero returns. Six players finished with 15+ points to topple the Warriors, and the Clippers just can’t count on that kind of depth, as their 4-10 ATS mark suggests.

Though L.A. has won the last four meetings between these teams, I see the Magic flipping the script here, especially with the Clippers allowing 120+ points in three of their past four contests.

Clippers vs Magic same-game parlay

It’s taken Desmond Bane a few weeks to find his footing, but he’s looking more and more comfortable in this Orlando offense — and there’s no shortage of opportunities as the Magic try to fill the Banchero void.

Bane led the way with 23 points against Golden State, and he’s gone past this number in four of his last five games, with his shooting percentages trending up.

Zubac continues to be among the NBA’s elite rebounders, and he’s put together a solid stretch on the glass. He’s grabbed 12+ boards in four of his last six outings, including 13 rebounds in Philly this week, and he’s averaging 12 RPG in November.

Zubac’s presence around the rim could also be a reason to take the Under, which is 8-1-1 in L.A.’s last 10 matchups against Orlando.

Our "from downtown" SGP: Bogdan won't be bogged down
