Ronald Acuna Jr. has scored in five of his last six games and, now hitting closer to the middle of the order, is as much of a threat as ever to drive batters in.

My Yankees vs. Braves predictions expect him to take advantage of hitting in the No. 3 hole against a struggling veteran in Marcus Stroman.

Let’s take a closer look at my MLB picks for July 20.

Yankees vs Braves prediction

My Yankees vs Braves best bet: Ronald Acuna Jr. Over 2.5 hits+runs+RBI (+120 at Caesars)

Marcus Stroman continues to be a pitcher I want to target every time the New York Yankees send him to the mound. He's struggled mightily when healthy, winning just one of six starts while allowing a 6.66 ERA and 1.64 WHIP.

Stroman’s underlying profile is littered with red flags. He’s struck out just 13% of opposing batters, owns a double-digit walk rate, a 5.27 SIERA, and has allowed a .283 batting average.

Stroman is not punching out batters, instead allowing a ton of contact — and hard contact at that. His average exit velocity is nearly 92 miles per hour.

Ronald Acuna Jr. is someone who should take advantage. He has every tool in the box and has dominated against Stroman’s sinker/slurve combination, hitting .355 with a .400 wOBA vs. those pitches over the last couple of months.

Hitting in the No. 3 hole and with more traffic on the basepaths, Acuna is more of an RBI threat than usual. That only boosts his already high H+R+RBI floor and ceiling.

Caesars QuickPick: Our Yankees vs Braves same-game parlay (SGP)

Ronald Acuna Jr. Over 2.5 hits+runs+RBI

Cody Bellinger Over 0.5 runs

Braves moneyline

Cody Bellinger has scored 12 runs over his last 10 games, touching home plate at least once in seven of them. Grant Holmes has had a much tougher time slowing down left-handed bats, which works in Bellinger’s favor.

The Atlanta Braves have upped the ante offensively, scoring four runs or more in each of their last seven games. They’ve also scored at least six times in four of the last five. Their suddenly hot offense should cause real problems for Stroman and lead them to victory.
