The season is on the line for the Philadelphia Phillies in Game 3 against the Los Angeles Dodgers on Wednesday, October 8.
Philadelphia will turn to veteran Aaron Nola to start, while Los Angeles will counter with rookie Yoshinobu Yamamoto. The two righties headline my top MLB player props for this NLDS showdown at Dodgers Stadium.

Phillies vs Dodgers player prop picks
Prop #1: Aaron Nola Under 8.5 outs
With the season on the line, Philadelphia Phillies starter Aaron Nola is going to be on the shortest of leashes, and the Los Angeles Dodgers send a potent lineup to the dish against righties.
L.A. finished the regular season with the third-highest wOBA and fourth-highest ISO against right-handed arms, and Nola capped the season off with a career-high 6.01 ERA and 1.35 WHIP.
Of course, Nola was also worse on the highway with even higher 6.97 and 1.48 marks.
Prop #2: Yoshinobu Yamamoto Under 17.5 outs
It’s now or never for the Phillies, and while I’m anticipating a strong game from Dodgers starter Yoshinobu Yamamoto, he’ll have his hands full with the Phillies finishing the regular season fifth in wOBA and eighth in ISO against righties.
Pitching six full frames is a tall task at this stage of the postseason, too. Even if Yamamoto mows through the Philadelphia lineup, he threw a season-high 113 pitches across 6 2/3 innings last time out, so an earlier exit could easily be in the cards following an off-day for the L.A. bullpen.
Prop #3: Freddie Freeman Over 1.5 hits + runs ++ RBI
Dodgers first baseman Freddie Freeman has 76 career at-bats against Phillies starter Aaron Nola, and Freeman sports a high-end .372 wOBA and .201 ISO against righties this season.
Add Freeman topping this total in three of four postseason games to hitting in the heart of this dangerous lineup, and I like him to cash the Over again Wednesday night.
