Orioles vs Yankees Prediction, Picks & Odds — Saturday, September 27

The Yankees keep winning, and while the soft schedule is helping, they're playing great baseball at the right time. They also tend to win by multiple scores, especially against the Orioles, who wish the season ended months ago.

Going down to the wire for the American League East crown, the New York Yankees look to make it seven straight wins when they battle the Baltimore Orioles this afternoon.

The Yankees are deadlocked with the Blue Jays with identical 92-68 records, with Toronto holding the tiebreaker.

Our Orioles vs Yankees predictions and MLB picks have New York staying hot against Baltimore on Saturday, September 27.

Orioles vs Yankees prediction

Orioles vs Yankees best bet: Yankees -1.5 (-110)

The scheduling gods have gifted the New York Yankees a soft stretch coming home, and they’ve taken full advantage.

Going against the AL Central’s two worst teams in Minnesota and Chicago, and six against the AL East basement-dwelling Baltimore Orioles, New York has ripped off wins in nine of its last 11.

With an 8-4 win to open the set against Baltimore, it’s just the second time during this six-game fun run New York has allowed more than two runs in a game. The Yankees also won by at least two runs in each of their last five victories against Baltimore.

They turn to righty Cam Schlittler today, and he should know his opponent fairly well, making consecutive starts against the O’s. Schlittler held Baltimore to just three hits and one earned run in 5 1/3 innings, while striking out six.

The Orioles have dropped five of eight and turn to righty Tomoyuki Sugano on the mound. He also last pitched against the Yankees and was shelled, getting chased after three innings, allowing six hits and four earned runs.

He’s struggled of late, losing four times in five starts, and carrying a 6.00 ERA in September. Now is not the time to be slumping. The Yankees are hitting .333 off Sugano this year, with three homers and seven runs batted in.

With the stakes extra high, New York keeps the pedal to the metal to chase down that AL East crown.

Orioles vs Yankees same-game parlay (SGP)

Aaron Judge homered and drove in a couple in Friday's opener, and has now grabbed at least two total bases in three straight games.

He has also feasted off Sugano, going 6-for-7 this season, with two homers and two RBI.

Let’s wrap with Schlitter, who is tabbed with a 6.5 strikeout line, which he has topped just once in four September starts.

Baltimore will get its second look at him, which will be to its advantage. Schlittler should come close, but take the Under to prevail here.
