The first five games between the Seattle Mariners and Toronto Blue Jays have featured plenty of offense, with four going Over the total.

My Mariners vs. Blue Jays predictions expect more of the same in Game 6, with both offenses stepping up once again.

Let’s break down my MLB picks for Sunday, October 19.

Mariners vs Blue Jays Game 6 predictions

Who will win Mariners vs Blue Jays Game 6

The Seattle Mariners have a strong chance of closing out the series in this game.

Seattle has an excellent, more experienced pitcher on the mound, and its offense has been exceptional on the road over the last couple of months.

This will be a lot for the Toronto Blue Jays to handle, especially if George Springer is hindered.

Mariners vs Blue Jays best bet

Over 7.5 runs (-105)

The pitching matchup of Trey Yesavage and Logan Gilbert looks very good on paper. However, there is still reason to believe both of these offenses can have productive nights at the plate.

The Seattle Mariners have performed well offensively in this series. They have scored 25 runs through five games, 13 of which came over the two games in Toronto.

Producing big numbers on the road is nothing new for Seattle. From September 1st onwards, the Mariners actually led the majors in wOBA vs. right-handed pitching in away games.

They were lethal when they didn’t have to play in the pitcher-friendly park that is their home.

Yesavage has allowed 4+ runs in two of his past four starts, and righties have hit for a solid average against him. He’s not immune to giving up runs.

Meanwhile, Gilbert was much less potent on the road all year long. He posted a 2.24 ERA and 13.3 K/9 in Seattle compared to a 4.74 ERA and 10.34 K/9 in away games.

The Toronto Blue Jays were also much more productive in Toronto all year long. They should be able to score their fair share of runs in his game, helping push it over the total.

Mariners vs Blue Jays Game 6 same-game parlay (SGP)

Vladimir Guerrero Jr. has nine runs through nine playoff games this year. He’s been so productive at the plate that he’s routinely being intentionally walked, giving him guaranteed opportunities on base to potentially cash in.

Julio Rodriguez was more productive at the plate on the road this year. That helped him score more frequently, rounding the bases in 55% of away games compared to just 43% in Seattle. He scored in Games 1 and 2 vs. Toronto.

Mariners vs Blue Jays SGP

  • Over 7.5
  • Vladimir Guerrero Jr. Over 0.5 runs
  • Julio Rodriguez Over 0.5 runs

Mariners vs Blue Jays home run pick for Game 6

Julio Rodriguez (+450)

Rodriguez hit for a lot more power in away games this year, homering 26% of the time vs. 12% in Seattle.

He posted ISOs of .198 or higher against each of Yesavage’s three pitches and took him yard the last time they met.
