HR Prop #1: Teoscar Hernandez
Teoscar Hernandez has been a stud in these playoffs for the Los Angeles Dodgers, already clubbing three home runs in five games. He went deep in Game 1 of this NLDS, giving the Dodgers a lead after Cristopher Sanchez exited the contest.
He’ll face the lefty again today, and Hernandez is 5-for-15 lifetime with two home runs and two doubles. Sanchez doesn’t allow a lot of homers, but if there’s one guy in this L.A. lineup who is capable at the moment, it’s Hernandez.
He also homered 16 times at home during the regular season.
HR Prop #2: William Contreras
The Milwaukee Brewers will be looking to send the Chicago Cubs home tonight as they meet in Game 4. William Contreras has been a key factor in this series so far, hitting .417 through three contests. He also went deep in Game 3 on Monday.
The Cubbies send Matthew Boyd to the mound this evening, which is going to light up the eyes of Contreras. He’s 5-for-10 lifetime against him with a home run. Contreras only had three bombs off lefties in the season, but it’s hard to ignore his track record here.
Contreras could make some noise.
HR Prop #3: Shohei Ohtani
Shohei Ohtani is a freak of nature, but he has struggled immensely in this series, registering just one hit and striking out seven times.
While that’s very unlike Ohtani, it’s also only a matter of time until he breaks out.
The slugger smacked 55 regular season bombs and had a pair of round-trippers in the Wild Card. He’s 4-for-19 lifetime against Sanchez, and he thrives at home, smacking 29 long balls at Dodger Stadium.
A player this good can’t stay cold for long, and his cold streak could just end with a loud statement tonight.
