HR picks for June 13
Kyle Schwarber (+275 at DraftKings)
Kyle Schwarber is having a monster season. He’s already clubbed 21 home runs and driven in 47 runs while hitting .246.
He’s smacked two long balls in his last four games and just went deep against his former team, the Chicago Cubs, on Wednesday. Tonight’s matchup heavily plays in Schwarber’s favor.
The Phils begin a series with the Toronto Blue Jays, and they send Kevin Gausman to the hill. While Gausman's had some success against Philadelphia, Schwarber has had success against him, too.
He’s 3-for-12 lifetime vs. Gausman, and all three hits have been home runs. Ten of Schwarber’s bombs this year are against right-handed hurlers, as well. No. 22 could be coming this evening.
Ozzie Albies (+425 at DraftKings)
Ozzie Albies may be a small guy, but he has pop in his bat. He’s hit 24+ home runs three times in his career.
While Albies has just six long balls so far this year, tonight feels like the perfect opportunity for No. 7.
He’ll face the struggling German Marquez, who takes the bump for the lowly Colorado Rockies. Marquez has a 7.00 ERA and has allowed seven home runs in 13 starts. Albies is 6-for-14 lifetime vs. Marquez with a pair of bombs. He also has hits in three of his last four contests.
The Curacao native has smacked all six of his long balls off righties.
Max Muncy (+450 at DraftKings)
Max Muncy is having a bit of a down year. He’s batting just .238, going deep only nine times.
That’s far below what we’re used to seeing from the slugger. Muncy has collected 35+ home runs in four different seasons in his big league career.
Well, his eyes will light up this evening. The Los Angeles Dodgers begin an important series with the San Francisco Giants, who hand Logan Webb the ball. While Webb has been solid in 2025, Muncy has his number. He’s 9-for-27 lifetime with three home runs.
Muncy has three bombs in June and every single one of his homers in 2025 are off righties like Webb. Don’t be surprised if he takes the Giants hurler deep tonight.
