Led by stars Bobby Witt Jr. and Salvador Perez, the Kansas City Royals have scored at least seven runs in three of the past four games heading into tonight's matchup against the Cleveland Guardians.

My Guardians vs. Royals predictions expect their offense to build on its strong form, with Witt Jr. once again playing a pivotal role.

Let’s take a closer look at my MLB picks for Friday, July 25.

Guardians vs Royals prediction

My Guardians vs Royals best bet: Bobby Witt Jr. Over 2.5 hits + runs + RBI (-130 at Caesars)

Cleveland Guardians starter Gavin Williams has some of the most extreme splits you will see in a starting pitcher.

Williams has been lights out against lefties this season, holding them to a .151 average, .279 SLG%, and striking out just under 10 batters per nine innings.

However, things haven’t gone as smoothly vs. righties, with Williams conceding a .286 average, .447 SLG%, and 1.7 WHIP.

Bobby Witt Jr. is a prime candidate to take advantage. Beyond the mouthwatering splits, the Kansas City Royals shortstop also possesses fantastic numbers against Williams’ pitch mix.

Williams throws the fastball or sweeper nearly 70% of the time vs. righties. Witt Jr. has hit .270 with five homers against the heater and is sporting a .310 average against the sweeper when facing a right-handed pitcher.

Put simply, Witt Jr. has feasted on the two go-to pitches in Williams’ arsenal. That should lead to plenty of success at the plate.

Guardians vs Royals same-game parlay (SGP)

Bobby Witt Jr. Over 2.5 hits + runs + RBI

Salvador Perez Over 1.5 total bases

Royals moneyline

Salvador Perez is one of the hottest hitters in baseball. He has averaged — yes, averaged — 4.8 bases over his last five games. He is tearing the cover off the ball and now draws a pitcher he has a strong history against, having hit safely in four of nine at-bats against Williams.

If Witt Jr. and Perez are to stay hot at the plate, the Royals will prevail over a Guardians team that should struggle to keep up offensively. They rank dead last in wOBA vs. right-handed pitching since June 1.
