My Giants vs Mets best bet: Robbie Ray Under 2.5 earned runs (-135 at BET99)
Robbie Ray is having an impressive season for the San Francisco Giants. The veteran has a 9-5 record and 2.93 ERA through 22 starts, striking out 134 in 129 innings while walking 52.
Ray has cashed the Under in earned runs allowed in five of his last six appearances. He put together a nice start in his most recent outing vs. these same New York Mets with two earned runs over 5 2/3 frames, allowing only five hits in the process.
His ERA also sits at 2.73 ERA in night games, and Ray has a 3.40 ERA on the road.
He’s very familiar with this Mets lineup, too. Across 94 at-bats, they’re hitting only .255. I expect Ray to bring his best tonight and give the Giants a realistic shot at winning the series opener in Queens.

On the mound for the Mets is David Peterson, who owns a 2.83 ERA. He tossed six innings of one-run baseball last time out versus San Francisco, but there’s one hitter in this lineup who has terrorized him — Rafael Devers.
Devers is 5-for-13 lifetime against the left-hander. This is a good chance for him to snap out of a funk at the dish.
