Mark Vientos is having a sneaky-good season for the Mets, and he's in prime position to tally another base knock in Game 4.

The New York Mets look to even up the NLCS at 2-2 and tonight's Dodgers vs. Mets prediction expects New York third baseman Mark Vientos to do his best to get the Mets in the win column.

Dodgers vs Mets prediction

Who will win Dodgers vs Mets Game 4?

The Los Angeles Dodgers flexed their offensive muscles in Games 1 and 3 of this series, with the New York Mets taking Game 2. I'll take the Mets as +120 underdogs with Jose Quintana on the mound tonight.

My Dodgers vs Mets best bet

Mark Vientos 1+ hit

My analysis
Mark Vientos had a great regular season in the Big Apple — hitting .266 with 27 home runs and 71 RBI — and his strong play has continued in the playoffs.

Vientos struggled down the stretch with just a .223 average in September, but he flipped the script in October. The 3B leads all players with 15 hits, including three home runs and two doubles. Sure, it helps he’s played in three extra games, but his contributions can’t go overlooked.

The Mets were held to just four hits in Wednesday night’s Game 3 loss, but Vientos came away with one of them. He now has a hit in back-to-back games, six of his last seven, and eight of 10 playoff games this year.

Vientos should continue to hit in the two-hole for New York, giving him a good chance of getting at least four at bats. Given the bats around him, he shouldn’t get pitched around, either.

Dodgers vs Mets same-game parlay (SGP)

Mark Vientos 1+ hit

Jose Quintana 4+ strikeouts

Mets moneyline

Jose Quintana is another player who has quietly had a great year. He racked up 29 strikeouts in 30 innings across his five final regular-season starts and has 11 punchouts in as many innings in the playoffs.

Don’t be surprised when the Mets even the series at home with Quintana on the mound.
