Game 5 between the Chicago Cubs and Milwaukee Brewers is on the schedule tonight, with a spot in the NLCS on the line.
My MLB player props and home run analysis will highlight two players from this matchup — Michael Busch and William Contreras — on Saturday, October 11.
Cubs vs Brewers home run props
Cubs home run pick
Michael Busch (+330 at Caesars)
Michael Busch was a beast for the Chicago Cubs during the regular season, smacking 38 home runs. He’s carried that power into the playoffs, hitting .292 with four long balls. The slugger has gone deep in three of four games so far in this series, and I’m eyeing him to make that a fourth in the NLDS.
It’s still unknown who the Milwaukee Brewers will start in Game 5, but to be honest, it doesn’t matter when Busch is this hot. He just homered in back-to-back games in the series to help Chicago climb out of a 0-2 hole.
I expect Busch to make some noise again.
Brewers home run pick
William Contreras (+500 at Caesars)
William Contreras is also swinging it well in the postseason, batting .313 with a home run. He went deep 17 times in 2025, and he’s always a threat to do so.
Game 2 saw the catcher leave the yard when the Brew Crew initially took a 2-0 series lead.
There’s a good chance that the Cubbies send Shota Imanaga to the hill tonight. Contreras has a nice track record against him, going 5-for-12 with three home runs.
Contreras also cracked nine round-trippers at home this season.
