Greentube, gambling company NOVOMATIC's digital gaming division, announced it's entering Pennsylvania's online casino market, launching several titles through Caesars Entertainment's casino platforms.

Key takeaways

  • Greentube agreed to a partnership with Caesars Entertainment.
  • Silver Lux Big Win Spinner will be available to Pennsylvania players.
  • Caesars will expand its WSOP offering in the Keystone State.

Greentube described the deal as a significant milestone in its U.S. expansion strategy. The partnership will see its games launched on Caesars' online casino platforms, Caesars Palace Online Casino, Horseshoe Online Casino, and Caesars Sportsbook & Casino.

The exclusive rollout gives Pennsylvania players initial access to two high-profile Greentube games: Golden Roar Boom and Silver Lux Big Win Spinner. The latter is the first of the Silver Lux series of games, which other operators across the U.S. offer, to be released in the Keystone State.

Other releases coming include Diamond Cash, Thunder Cash Voodoo Magic, Mighty Sevens, and A Fistful of Wilds.

“We are excited to make our debut in Pennsylvania with a trusted and prestigious partner like Caesars Entertainment. This launch is not only a key milestone for us but also a sign of our commitment to expanding our presence across the U.S. We’re especially delighted to introduce Silver Lux Big Win Spinner to a new audience and can’t wait for players to discover more content on the horizon,” said Patrick Igras, sales & key account manager at Greentube, commenting on the launch.

Caesars’ Pennsylvania poker expansion

Caesars Entertainment’s collaboration with Greentube isn’t the only time Caesars expanded its operations in Pennsylvania. In April, the casino operator revealed it was extending its poker coverage to Keystone State players.

Its WSOP online poker platform now includes Pennsylvania, pooling liquidity with New Jersey, Michigan, and Nevada.

The expansion means Caesars is the first online poker brand to share liquidity across four states, and the only platform where players from those states can compete against one another. It follows Michigan's integration into the pool in May 2024.

Pennsylvania regulators admit they can’t take sweepstakes action

Meanwhile, Pennsylvania regulators admitted they're unable to take proper enforcement action against sweepstakes operators in the commonwealth.

Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board representatives gave evidence to the Pennsylvania Assembly Gaming Oversight Committee and revealed that although they sent 18 cease-and-desist letters to state operators, they could take little concrete action.

According to the Board, the language in Pennsylvania's existing law regarding internet gaming makes it impossible for them to take action. Multiple other U.S. states, including New York and Michigan, also took action against sweepstakes operators, who provide casino games users can play with virtual currency.
