The Sweden-based online slots developer Gaming Corps has expanded its presence in the Ontario-regulated market after launching its gaming content with the Canadian crown corporation, the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG).

Key Takeaways

  • OLG added Gaming Corps games, expanding its regulated Ontario casino library with soccer, slots and instant-win titles.

  • The partnership gives Gaming Corps access to OLG's provincial digital audience through another regulated distribution channel.

  • OLG disclosed several available releases but withheld commercial terms, launch dates and the deal's full scope.

The rollout covers a mixture of sports-led and broader casino releases. Goals to Glory: Football Fever, Penalty Champion: Goals to Glory, and Goals to Glory: Instant Blitz arrive alongside 3 Pigs of Olympus, 4 Gym Pigs: Porky Power, and Big Bucks Blitz. That split gives OLG soccer content built around the current sports calendar while adding familiar Gaming Corps series from outside the theme.

For Gaming Corps, the agreement brings another distribution route inside Ontario's regulated iGaming market. The supplier's library is now available through an operator that runs various online casino products, including lottery games, internet gaming, bingo, and other electronic games.

OLG was created in 1975 and says it has generated about $64 billion for Ontario and its residents.

“Launching with OLG gives Gaming Corps outstanding visibility in one of the most exciting regulated markets in North America. The timing could not be better. As global football moves into focus, we are bringing OLG a fantastic line-up that speaks directly to the moment, while also introducing some of our most recognizable titles, mechanics, and characters,” said Graham Greensmith, CCO at Gaming Corps.

The announcement did not disclose commercial terms, a launch schedule for individual titles, or the number of games covered by the deal. It confirmed that the listed releases are now part of the content package available through OLG's online channels.

OLG introduces deposit limits for some online players under 25

That expansion of OLG's online casino offering sits alongside a separate change to its player-protection approach.

On June 1, OLG said that certain online players under 25 will be required to set a deposit limit as their engagement increases.

The measure applies to money added to an account. Eligible players can set a daily, weekly, or monthly limit, establishing a ceiling before further deposits are made.

OLG described the policy as an early safeguard for a group it says research has repeatedly identified as more exposed to gambling-related harm than older players.

The new requirement builds on tools already available through OLG's PlaySmart program. Those include voluntary deposit limits, spending reminders, and time-outs. The difference is that the new approach makes a deposit cap mandatory for some under-25 customers, rather than leaving the decision entirely optional.

OLG said the policy is intended to encourage players to consider their spending boundaries as online activity develops. The announcement did not identify the engagement threshold that triggers the requirement, the default limit level, or whether players can later change the amount they selected.
