DraftKings announced Wednesday that it is offering customers a new way to accumulate and redeem loyalty rewards with Crown Cash, a rewards currency that powers the DraftKings Rewards program.

Key Takeaways

  • $1 Crown Cash is equal to $1 in the customer's applicable currency.

  • Crown Cash can be used across participating DraftKings products, with availability varying by jurisdiction.

  • Customers in the highest reward tier can receive 25% off when making purchases with Crown Cash.

Crown Cash is now available to eligible customers across DraftKings Casino, Sportsbook, Daily Fantasy Sports, Jackpocket, and Golden Nugget Online Gaming. DraftKings Predictions will be added soon.

“By pairing flexibility with personalized benefits and unforgettable experiences, we’re delivering a loyalty program that recognizes customers in meaningful ways,” said Shawn Henley, chief customer officer at DraftKings. “DraftKings Rewards and Crown Cash make it easier for customers to see and use the rewards they’ve earned across our platforms, bringing greater consistency and connection across DraftKings.”

The DraftKings Rewards program will continue with the same five annual tiers: Bronze, Silver, Gold, Diamond, and Onyx. Each tier provides increasing rewards and benefits.

  • Onyx - 25% off purchases with Crown Cash | $100 purchase = 75 Crown Cash

Customers can also access personalized promotions, curated offerings, travel and hospitality opportunities, and “money-can’t-buy” experiences across sports and entertainment.

More rewards for customers

As part of DraftKings’ new and improved loyalty program, customers will receive new benefits such as Casino Weekly Bonus Back, Birthday Bonus, and Crown Cash Boosts, along with the returning Elite Rewards, Milestone Rewards, and more.

According to the DraftKings website, Crown Cash can be redeemed at a rate of $1 Crown Cash per $1 in the customer's applicable currency. Customers can redeem their cash by adding items to their shopping cart, selecting “Pay with Crown Cash,” and either choosing a preset value or manually typing a payment amount. Click “Apply to Order” to finalize the selection, and proceed with checkout.

Crown Cash cannot be withdrawn directly, but eligible wagering wins are paid as cash under DraftKings' standard withdrawal rules.

While DraftKings’ offer is for loyalty members, new players can check out the latest sign-up offer and enroll in the loyalty program.

New customers can claim our DraftKings promo code to get $150 in bonus bets after submitting a $5 wager. Bonus bets will be awarded over 14 days.

DraftKings' announcement also highlighted tools such as deposit limits, cool-off periods, and self-exclusion, which it says are designed to help customers understand their activity and make informed choices about their entertainment.

Building the super app

The new DraftKings loyalty currency comes as the company continues to integrate users across different verticals into its super app.

Based on local regulations, DraftKings is integrating its products under one account and wallet, excluding fantasy contests. Prediction markets made the cut and have shown promising early growth, prompting CEO Jason Robins to say they were part of a “fantastic” second quarter.
