Sam Burns heads into the final round as the betting favorite in the U.S. Open odds, holding a one-stroke lead over countryman J.J. Spaun and major champion Adam Scott.

Oakmont Country Club has played as advertised, with big numbers looming on every hole — including a tight battle between Tyrrell Hatton and Carlos Ortiz for top LIV player honors.

The stage is set for a spectacular Sunday, and my trio of plus-money golf picks has you covered for Round 4.

Best U.S. Open Round 4 predictions

Pick: Tyrrell Hatton Top LIV Player
+120 at FanDuel

The race for the Top LIV Golf finish in the 2025 U.S. Open is all but down to Tyrrell Hatton (+1) and Carlos Ortiz (E), and I’m leaning toward Hatton given his superior resume, better form entering the event, and well-rounded play through three rounds.

Make no mistake, Ortiz has been excellent through 54 holes while ranking second in true strokes tee-to-green. However, he's lost true strokes on the greens (-0.20 per round), and this is just the third time Ortiz has played the weekend across his 10 major championship appearances.

Meanwhile, Hatton has gained true strokes across the board, including placing 10th in the field in tee-to-green play and ninth on approaches. Of course, he’s also carded 12 Top 10s in major championships, so the stage isn’t too big for the 10-time worldwide winner.

Pick: Keegan Bradley Top 20
+100 at DraftKings

The American Ryder Cup captain has been solid without his best iron play this week and still sits T21 heading into the final round.

Keegan Bradley has actually lost true strokes on approaches (-0.56 per round), and I expect statistical correction considering he’s improved in each of the past two rounds.

Bradley still ranks 13th in the field in true strokes gained tee-to-green, and he entered the week fifth in the field in tee-to-green play, including ninth on approaches (+1.02 per round) across his prior two events.

Pick: Thomas Detry Over Brooks Koepka
+135 at DraftKings

I expect Brooks Koepka to try to be aggressive and climb the leaderboard Sunday, and if we’ve learned anything the past three days, Oakmont isn’t forgiving.

Thomas Detry has played incredibly well, too.

The Belgian has hit 33 of 42 fairways and 35 of 54 greens in regulation to rank seventh in this field in true strokes gained tee-to-green and 11th on approaches. He also gained true strokes on the greens for the first time in Round 3, so I like his chances to card a solid score.
