The cut line at golf majors always draws plenty of attention from bettors and the U.S. Open is no exception.

Projected cut line update

Sportsbooks set the pre-tournament cut line at 147.5 (+7.5).

The par-70 layout at Pennsylvania's Oakmont Country Club is one of the most difficult tests in all of golf. The last time the US Open was played at Oakmont was 2016 and the cut line closed at +6. Based on early reports from the course, this year's rough is more difficult than previous hosting years.
