Young is the better player and is playing better this week although down 1 stroke currently.

 

rd1 Young couldn’t make a putt and was -4.77 strokes gained putting 

But thru 2 rounds his T2G and APP is far better than Thomas

Finally I don’t feel that Young is a bad putter yet he has lost 6.4 strokes putting to Thomas

amd Young showed grit making bird on 17 to 4’ to make cut

 Young just awful rd3 

hard to fathom he was this bad.  He missed 2 putts of 3’ and he 3 putted 3 greens. Yet his putting stats on season are mid-pack averaging -0.02 strokes gained. Thru 3 rounds he has lost 8.6 strokes putting.

He is the #3 golfer in the world and he is 3rd in FedEx Cup points this year meaning he is in great form.

81 golfers made the cut and Young is ahead of just 2 of them

Doesn’t figure
