LIV Golf Team Championship picks and predictions
Legion XIII
With world-class players Jon Rahm and Tyrrell Hatton alongside rising stars Tom McKibbin and Caleb Surratt, Legion XIII are the rightful favorites to win the LIV Michigan Team Championship.
Rahm and Hatton have combined for 15 Top 10 finishes, while McKibbin (four) and Surratt (one) have added another five. The quartet will receive excellent play from Rahm and Hatton, so McKibben and Surratt will be the wild cards.
If the two youngsters can navigate The Cardinal, Legion XIII will finish with a tidy score and be tough to top following a banner season that included four team wins and three more second-place finishes.
The Cardinal at St. John's notes
The Cardinal at Saint John’s in Plymouth, Michigan, is a newly opened championship course that debuted in 2024. Designed by Ray Hearn, it draws inspiration from Golden Age architecture, weaving through rolling terrain framed by hardwood trees and lakes. The course is defined by its strategic design elements, including deep Willie Park Jr. style bunkers that create visual deception from the tee.
Built with championship-caliber intent, it quickly earned recognition and has established itself as a scenic and challenging venue that blends natural beauty with thoughtful design.
LIV Golf Team Championship field and favorites
Legion XIII, led by Jon Rahm, are the current favorites to take home the Team Championship in Michigan at +260, but odds are tight. Right behind them at +330 are Crushers GC, whom Bryson DeChambeau leads.
