I am licking my chops over this one

the big ice favours USA - their speedy forwards will have no trouble bringing the puck in even quicker to the offensive zone then they do in the NHL - I am drooling over the capabilities of their top two lines... JVR , phil the thrill and the big pavelski. plus I like quick over halak

Agree 100%. USA is my darkhorse for this tournament. With Miller/Quick in net, that quick and gritty offence, and solid defence, I like their chances. The fact that the line only opened -1.5 versus Slovakia does seem a little fishy, but it's too good to pass up. Good luck

Their defense is young and inexperienced.  That is their weakness like Canada could say theirs is in goal.  I haven't watched Sweden yet.....I don't trust Russia...they don't seem to have a ton of heart, but that might change as this thing gets rolling.  

Nothing better than Olympic hockey.
