BOS, NYY, STL all very chalky, too - those would almost certainly have to be RL plays. SD & SF ML are just about the same as those RL's. Just something else to consider...

No problem - but just remember, I'm no pro. Just giving my input based on whatever stats & history I can find. Don't ever let me or anyone else talk you out of a play you honestly feel is the right one.

Yeah the more I look at Boston, all things considered, I think that might be the way I'm leaning for the POD. I think Boston -1 comes to around -130. And let's be realistic - Boston should rebound and be the AL force they usually are. So time may be running out on getting them at this price as opposed to the lines on the Yanks, etc.
I still may play a couple others but again, the purpose of this thread is to try & make the best pick. I do think juice should be a consideration but only if there are other plays that seem just as strong but offer a better value. If heavy chalk is the only play, then that's the play.

did you guys notice the total in the cubs game? two decent pitchers on the mound and the total is set at 14.5 word is the wind is blowing like crazy straight out.

All things considered, I think I will take the night off. Several of these I kinda like, but none really stick out. So I will probably hold off until tomorrow.

Hi guys just getting in now and reading these posts. My POD is SD. Very impressed with their hitting on game 1 after returning from extended road trip. Brewers pitching is far from stellar too. I have pretty good confidence in SD pitching with what appears to be good hitting over Millw. Yanks are coming back from extended road trip so it's a NP for me. It's a theory I used with the NBA that has proven itself on many occasions and I feel it applies to MLB too. I also don't think Boston's hitting has proven itself through enough games. Liking TB on RL again too. GL to ALL!!

That should be a consideration as well, especially considering they already dropped the first game of the series.

However, since COL is throwing a no-name rookie out there some may say that, since SF has never seen him before, he could surprise them - but Cain's numbers last year were awesome at home & during the day so that might not matter. As far as TEX throwing Harrison & his career 5.72 ERA, SEA has at least seen him a few times...including April 10 when he tossed 6 innings of 1-run baseball. Felix is only 8-9 vs Texas & actually pitches slightly worse at home, but his peripherals aren't terrible and he's been even more dominant during the day. But can SEA give him a couple of runs or will he have to pitch a shutout?
I think the SEA line is too chalky for a team near the bottom in runs scored. There's no room for error for Felix.
I like Cain & SF.
