My play for tonight is clear :

Yankees ML ( Power rating : 8.4)

Dodgers : RL ( power rating : 6.4) kershaw pitcher + long flight for pirates = Dodgers Run line ( -1.5)

SixTen putting the LAD tonight in a parlay with BAL & TOR.I went with the CARDS as my single which was a winner. Bol tonight to all.

humm i am not sure for the yankees tonight cause Baltimore pitcher Matzuz seems to be good but if he leaves the ground yankees will win.

After i prefer LAD tonight with -1.5 they have to win and they got a PR :6.4 But kershaw have to stay on the mound cause not very good bullpen for the dodgers this years , only kershaw and kuroda after they are humm very short.

My play will be LAD RL -1.5

i will look at the yankees's game but not bet on this game.

I agree with you Hart.  Yanks SHOULD win but Matusz is supposedly the real deal.  The odds of him spinning a gem, although slim, are still better than Burres spinning one against anyone for PIT.

Well I was right about both SP's tossing a good game (Oswalt/Kershaw).  Wasn't expecting blowouts, but I didn't think both would get totally shut down (2 R/11 H combined against weak staffs).  Oh well...can't be perfect!

Yeah TB will get a look, but not as a system play here (don't think they'll fit criteria).  Other teams on my radar (not necessarily system, we'll do that tomorrow) are SD, ATL, BOS, NYY & TOR.

TB and SD yes!  ATL plays Mets well and Mets are overrated but Atl not hitting much these days.    Watch & see.... LA will probably win tomorrow!!

Humm Cards is a good choice cause very near from 5 PR ( 4.7) and also good pitcher and good batting actually.

I like also Yankees and Red sox

But Seattle is nice too but only with Run line ( -1.5)

i will study the game again before the start.

But definitely not the dodgers and yesterday the padres won 9-0 so tonight it will not be the same result.

I will study sharper Cards, red sox, yankees and seattle.

 

Hey Nabil show some faith buddy!  Those were pure speculations on my part, those leans weren't system-related.  We're still only recommending one POD.

First, I'm gonna steer clear of the TEX/SEA game.  Lewis has been pitching great, and we should probably let Lee get a start or two in to get his pitch count up and prove he's ready.  I'd rather wait for that Felix/Matt Harrison pitching matchup tomorrow.

As far as the SD/MIL series, I think today is the best pitching matchup - not because Richard is awesome (he's pitched well though), but more because Dave Bush sucks.  The next two games are against Wolf & Gallardo.

I like BOS today too - best matchup in the series and they're well-rested with an off-day.

NYY are a good choice as well.  Pettitte has been lights-out this year and Freddy Garcia hasn't been good since 2006.  Plus Yanks are 5-1 at home while CWS are 3-7 on the road.

Once again I like the Cards matchup too - but I think Sunday's Carpenter/Harang matchup is the one to wait for.  Penny's been great, but my gut tells me not to rely on him regularly...

...same goes for Barry Zito.  I'll wait for Matt Cain who has good #'s vs COL & at home or Jonathan Sanchez, who's been great since last year's AS break, going against a pair of rookies.

So, for me, I'm juggling between SD, NYY & BOS today.  Looking forward to your input!

Cook DOES have crappy numbers career vs SF...and Zito DOES own COL.  Just as Penny DOES own Cincy & Cueto has been pummeled by STL.

Every pick is a good choice!  Gonna be tough to narrow this down to one...

Tough to knock the STL choice.  They're streaking, 8-2 @ home, and have a rested Pujols for tonight.  Cincy has won 4 in a row too (just swept a road series), but had to travel from HOU to STL.  Cueto did face STL earlier this year and only gave up 2 R in 6 IP though.

Still, I think I'm going to avoid it today and see who's streak plays out.  Got my sights set on Carpenter Sunday.

I like the Yankees pick better.  Chicago was outscored 23-5 in losing all three games at Yankee Stadium last season, and is 2-11 in New York since 2006.  Garcia is 0-3 with a 6.16 ERA in his last five starts against NYY.  They're not hitting this year (besides Konerko), so there's no reason to think they'll knock Pettitte off his game - just as there's no reason to think Garcia will keep the Yankee bats at bay.  They're hitting .296 at home and averaging 5.5 runs a game.
