damn right! 2 of the best cappers on here.. god this forum is so full of talent! were making some noise i feel it. 2 games tomorrow but  i'm positive we'll  be on the right side. with this true blue collar no ego approach towards capping the strides we have made is truly amazing. thanks guys

What resources are available for you to find out certain information which you use to help you in capping?

For example, where would I go to see what the majority of bets are being placed on?

PHIXER,i been watching this forum topic from the very start and seeing what you do since you participated in it and in your own forum before that and,like everyone else,find what you do incredible!!!!well done good sir,i am as amazed as the next guy,and the next guy...and the next guy.and i also greatly appreciate the fact that your willingness to share has helped me profit massively,thats fantastic from my personal point of view....but im just wondering if i could request from you to share what angles and insights,or statistics,or whatever it is that you use to be so successful as this was started by mavin i believe to help everyone out for the greater good,sharing knowledge and growing in the process...rather than just tailing a whole bunch of people.

of course i do take note of your brief comments when you make picks,but is that all there is to it??....clearly the fact that you are almost religiously selective,lying in the weeds for days on end sometimes before striking at the perfect moment,is a major key to your success...but isnt there much more you could share with us,perhaps a little bit at a time each week??

if not i understand,its your intellectual property and you are free to do with your talents what you will but im sure others,as well as myself,would appreciate greatly notes or tips about how you draw your conclusions for selections and perhaps mavin may second this notion also as he started out as being a help/learning guide for others.but of course PHIXER is his own person and i know you cant force him to do anything mavin.

i should mention also that i appreciate massively all the input and knowledge from all the other awesome contributors in here by the way...thanks guys you all do a brilliant job!!!...before perusing this i saw nba picking to be a personal nightmare over the long run,now i see a clear way to success...cheers!!!

After loosing to minnesota pretty badly i expect the spurs to bounce back as they return home.  In the spurs last 6 wins they won by at least 10 points with most of those win being by 17+

The knicks are a mess and i dont see it turning around on the road with a very depleated team. portland should win comfortably at home

not a huge fan of playing 2 favorites on tnt thursday but it should pay off tonight

Man what happened to the Clippers last night? 

Ive got to take the Spurs tonite, even with Parker out and Duncan questionable.  Spurs are 5-0 when followed by a straight up loss last 5 they lost and after being blown out by the twolves it doesnt get any worse!  Spurs sports a 26-4 home record for the season.  Mavs are 0-4 ats last 4 in San Antonio.  Keep in mind also that this is Dallas 4th road game in a row.

You sir are correct kudos to all that won that won- it came down to the wire and really there was no point in scoring 98 pts in the second half as the game was way out of hand- Makes you wonder about the refs in some of these games- and of course the players as well.

Under is 6-2 in the last 8 meetings in San Antonio. 

NYK having a rough time on their west coast trip, now add their injuries and b2b against portland who fare well at home

My record shows I am heading in the wrong direction.  At some point, I went off track presenting opportunities different than others I had seen.  Like I said when I first started posting, I wanted to prove my worth to this thread and knew that would not happen by suggesting the favored picks.  I apologize, as this may have been a disservice to this thread.  I tend to make anywhere from 5-10 bets per day, same unit across the board.  My reasoning for playing multiple games is that I have found you need to spread out the wealth to accommodate for never having a "sure thing."  We make educated decisions attempting to put ourselves in the best position to profit so I rarely Parlay or Tease (sorry to break your heart Turbo!).  With that said, I will attempt to post the 3 games I feel most confident in, even if the pick or reasoning has already been said.  This time next week, I will be back to at least .500 but hopefully above!

 

With 2 games tonight, that shouldn't be too hard to stick to this!

Parlays are not for everyone I got screwed by the clips yesterday on an open parlay of $50 for $629 just needed them to cover

the second screw up was the second half total on them of 91 screwed a parlay that had two open spots $50 for $1300 I thought the game would get close and foul situations etc. but the scoring disappeared in the 2H- noticed that both games where the score went way over in 1H ended up under in the second half- both were 91 picked over on both one was was single play the other part of parlay.

Lines have gone to SA -9.0 and -6.0 Portland for me  I'm a bit confused

he just got his picks in early before the lines went up... surprised portland started at -3 BUT i know SA started at -7.. just lots of $$$ coming in on the favorites

Ya I normally place my bets early as I research in the am because I don't have time throughout the day. Sometimes i will wait on a line if i think it will go in my favor. especially underdogs when the public is in the favorite side. I only put in spurs -7 at my book and cancelled Portland as I stated earlier. Starting to thinks its not as fishy since its moved so much and maybe I should have put it in at -3 but screw it now just 1 play today. GL to all

And a heads up on the Portland game that line wasn't up everywhere earlier either that's why I use multiple books so I can have a variety and find the best lines

yah bro and im one of those people want to jump on POR cuz ny just wounded and without chandler in the middle idk how they will stop aldridge and hickson as I know ny will depend on Jr Smith and felton will be useless without the pick and roll but thurs dog day haha

I know we all watched the Spurs/Thunder game last week.  I am going to imagine the fact that the Spurs got rocked the game before was a bigger reason than them playing the Thunder.  Pop doesn't mess around and I see the Spurs coming out with a great effort.

·         Spurs are 5-0 ATS in their last 5 games following a S.U. loss.

·          Under is 9-3 in Spurs last 12 games following a S.U. loss.

 

I am going to look at the Portland line from a different angle.  I think people are scared to go chalk tonight, but I think that if the Knicks were not so hurt right now, the Knicks would have been favored.  The Trailblazers are not in the best shape either, but they need wins as Aldridge spoke of to get back in the Playoff chase.  Knicks can afford to take a breather.  The Trailblazers out rebounded the Knicks 47-37 last match up and I see them continuing that trend with Chandler gimpy.  Not much to support the other side:

·          Knicks are 0-4 ATS in their last 4 games following a SU loss of more than 10 points.

·          Knicks are 0-4-1 ATS in their last 5 road games vs. a team with a winning home record.
