roi_fisher combination of stats minus the actual meeting between two good defenses and combined with the teams recent home/away performances. Glad we cashed on that totals

I watched that over wehad Char.-Nets,Char.had alot of problems putting the ball in the hole,Nets had their share but Char.killed us,hope theycan score more today for everyone. GL today
Yeah, Charlotte did its part - Chicago didn't. Note, Chicago's next game will be the one I'll consider backing them up for contributing to Charlotte

Guaji i would have to agree with a lot of your picks...Mavin i agree with Chicago going over rather then under. Though Chicago plays half-court and tries to set that as a pace sometimes I don't think it is gonna be possible with Charlotte who love to run regardless of the team they are playing against. When you watch Chicago, if a team starts to run on them a good percentage of the time they will run with that team and go against there usual low scoring, set the pace offense. However when the team falls into Chicago's trap of slowing the game down thats when they create drag it out, low scoring basketball but i dont think the Bobcats will allow the game to go that way. Hey i could be wrong though sometimes Indiana and Chicago love to slow the game down and sometimes they run with teams. I think in the Indiana game with the Grizzlies a lot of times similar to the Bulls at times they play that slow paced game and get the other team to fall under the same drag out game. I feel like that's what the books are seeing and the total is deff off which means low scoring game for sure. I love the Rockets to also cover in that spot as well.....i should say like actually because the Hawks could deff show up in this spot and play with them but i think Houston will play too fast paced for them to keep up. If you notice Houston has a problem wiht Sa and OKC because they play the same style as the Rockets and have better players to win high scoring games. Almost beating them at their own game. Yet in other situations where the Rockets play decent teams that don't like to run as much they can beat them handidly. I think Rockets win and cover but not by much against a tough Hawks squad. If the Magic had Glen Davis the spread would be more like 7 and i would like to take the Magic to cover straight up because i like the odds enough for the percentage of times they show up in that spot to win at home. However without Davis they have been struggling and I have bet against them in a few spots and won. The one thing we know about the Heat though is they pick and choose when to defend and show up for games. They have losses that blow your mind sometimes and then they have wins where it looks like the same old Heat (besides the D). I think its possible Heat could cover, I think its possible Magic could cover and I even think its possible Magic could win straight up. I'm still thinking on that game. I like SA covering against the Nets but 9 points is too much against a rejuvenated Nets team with new coaching to bet on for my taste. I also do think its a good possibility that the Rockets can go over in the game against the Hawks but I have to research that a little harder. Right now I'm rolling with a lot of picks already mentioned on here and I have to roll with the master Mavin. Lastly I think OKC can cover in the spot they are in but its hard to take a 12 point cover, but despite any records I love OKC AND SPURS when they play at home especially. Who doesnt???....Mavin I'm rolling with you on your picks and were gonna take it down.
Great call on Bobcats

If the Heat could get a really solid guy inside for defense and a little offense, they would be a lot more complete of a team. Bosh is a solid player on offense but hes not big enough to body down on D, and Haslem is a very tough player that i have respected since I watched him in the carrier dome play for Florida, but they need an overall bigger body for rebounds and production down deep in the paint.

I would take Miami with the spread at the half.....i see them playing well in the 2nd half, they dont want a 3 game losing streak to the Magic w/out Big Baby....but its true that you never know what Miami your gonna see...I see a comeback and win though

Have to disagree with you here. The Heat is a perfect team. Since LBJ started to play low post when needed - the Heat became a positionless team and set the new standards in modern basketball. Suddenly they don't have to drive the ball all the way to the basket. Wade's effeciency grew with that. Today's game as the recent games are not an example. Most important is Haslem's presence. Miami could beat almost every team in NBA playing 4 against 5. The only teams that can resist the Heat if the Heat really played are the Thunder, Spurs and ..... no one. Today, as in Detroit - they simply were not up to it.
