Shep,
Thoughts on the Utah game...do you think there is value because of OSU's upset of USC last week. Utah seems certainly better but last week maybe Coach Riley has turned the corner with the OSU team..Jacquizz seems special.
I still feel there is value in Utah and Pitt tomorrow night but would love your input..Thanks

Just food for thought:
I would have to check but Utah and WVU always seem to have thursday night games so preparing in 4 days may be something they are used to and able to manage better than other teams. Therefore, the coaching staff has experience in 4 day preparation.

before i get to youngone's question... everyone should read what he said there...
"if you like 7 games, play them all straight"... what is the point of going 6-1 and losing money? that should never happen!
ok...
youngone... here are a few things i like about the OSU pick...
1) since the minute lines came out hordes of people were chiming about Utah being a great pick... line jumped 2.5 points the first night...
2) it seems that the universal reasoning behind this is very very bad... "OSU is sure to have a letdown"... no they aren't! USC is sure to have a letdown... because their season just crashed and burned... OSU on the other hand just revitalized their season, and found an identity... and a very good identity at that... physical, great run-stopping defense... and a nasty running game... they bring a lot of confidence into this game... trust me!
3) 4 days to prepare vs. 6 days to prepare... say what you want, that is HUGE!
11.5 just looks like a freaking gift!
i'm not the biggest officianado of Utah football, but i lived in Oregon for awhile and i have an idea how this team plays... they started off slow this year, but they did that last year, too... by midseason they had the #1 run defense in all of CFB... Riley is a great coach... not a good one, a great one!
we shall see... i have been wrong before... GL on it! if i lose it i'll live with it, because i know this is a good bet...
